I find myself thinking of Jane Austen during this time.
Her writing didn’t shape the world because she studied it from afar—it was because she immersed herself in it. She paid attention. She translated her lived experience into something tangible, something sensory, something that allowed others to feel as though they were right there beside her. She pushed people outside of their comfort zone through the pages of her novels, and they couldn't get enough of it. That is powerful influence!
That is Sagittarius.
We have just moved through Taurus season—a time that gently guided us back into our bodies, into the tangible, into the quiet wisdom of our senses. Taurus reminds us that life is not something to rush through or analyze from a distance. It is something to taste, to touch, to embody fully.
And now, the full moon in Sagittarius arrives.
Where Taurus roots us into the present moment, Sagittarius asks us to expand into it.
Not by escaping—but by deepening.
Sagittarius is often associated with truth, philosophy, and higher wisdom. But the kind of wisdom Sagittarius offers is not learned solely through study—it is earned through lived experience. Through stepping beyond what is familiar. Through allowing life to shape us.
This Full Moon feels like an invitation:
To take everything Taurus taught us about presence and sensation…
and bring it into new territory.
To experience more deeply.
To expand beyond our comfort zone.
To open ourselves to the richness of life in a way that stretches us.
Because true expansion is not just intellectual—it is sensual.
It lives in the body.
It lives in the moments where we say yes to something new.
Instead of looking outward for meaning during this Full Moon—through endless information, content, or the experiences of others—Sagittarius asks something different of us.
What if your wisdom came from your own direct experience?
What if you trusted that what you feel, what you notice, what moves through your senses… is enough?
There is a kind of depth that can only be accessed when we allow ourselves to be fully present with life as it unfolds.
Not just distant wisdom—but embodied understanding.
That is what Jane Austen gave to us. Truth that lives and breathes even now.
So this Full Moon, I invite you to create a ritual that engages your senses fully.
Not as a checklist—but as a doorway.
Here is an example of some tools you can use that are aligned with Sagittarius, but I encourage you to use what you have.
- Light cedarwood incense or diffuse cedarwood oil and allow its grounding, expansive aroma to anchor you.
- Work with holy basil—an herb aligned with Jupiter—to support openness, growth, and a gentle expansion of your inner world.
- Hold sodalite or amazonite as you reflect, allowing their energy to support clarity and truth.
I also invite you to bring in your sense of hearing
Choose a song that challenges a belief you’ve been holding onto.
Let it move through you.
Notice where you resist it.
Notice where you soften.
Give yourself permission to expand beyond what you have always known.
Let the wisdom arise through your body—not just your mind.
This Full Moon is an opportunity to step more fully into that becoming—through presence, through sensation, through experience itself.
May you be open to the Sagittarian arrow of truth that awaits you.
If you create this ritual, I’d love to hear what arises for you—share your experience with me via email or on Facebook or Instagram, or explore the Sagittarius-aligned tools in the shop to deepen into your practice.
