The Art of Anointing

A close-up photograph of a person sitting cross-legged on a moss-covered rock in an old-growth forest. They are wearing comfortable, earth-toned clothing. One hand holds a 10ml amber glass roller bottle, gently applying the oil to their lower back, near the base of the spine (root chakra). Surrounded by ferns, scattered raw stones, and dried leaves. The lighting is warm, dappled golden sunlight filtering through the tree canopy, creating soft shadows. he overall mood is grounded, secure, and ancient.
Focus: Security, Passion, and Creativity

Grounding & Creativity (Root + Sacral)

Where to Apply:

  • Base of Spine (Root): Apply here in the morning or when feeling anxious to establish security.
  • Lower Abdomen (Sacral): Apply here during creative projects or to ignite passion.

The Ritual: These centers connect you to the physical world. Massage the oil in a clockwise motion to anchor your spirit into your body.

The Breath: A Direct Line to the Soul

The 30-Second Reset

Inhaling your anointing oil is one of the quickest ways to shift your mood and nervous system. Why? Because essential oils bypass the conscious mind. When inhaled, the aroma travels directly to the limbic system—the brain's emotional center—allowing for immediate processing and relief.

The "Quick Inhalation" Ritual:

  1. Activate: Place a small amount of oil in your hands and rub them together to warm the plant spirits.
  2. Inhale: Cup your hands over your nose. Breathe in deeply while focusing on your intention.
  3. Reset: Exhale slowly. Repeat three times.

The Aromatic Bath

Transform a mundane routine into a therapeutic escape. Aromatic baths allow you to simultaneously relax the body and absorb the therapeutic properties of the oils. The warm water helps the oils absorb into the skin while releasing the aroma into the air.

Instructions:

  • Pour: Add ¼ to ½ of your roller bottle directly into running bathwater.
  • Enhance: Add epsom salts or magnesium flakes for deeper grounding.
  • Soak: Stay in the water for at least 20 minutes to fully experience the benefits.

Ritual & Rhythms

Meditation & Focus

Your custom oils are perfect complements to spiritual practice. They help anchor your intention and deepen your focus. * How to use: Roll oil on pulse points (wrists, temples, behind ears) before you begin. As you settle in, breathe the aroma deeply, linking the scent to your chosen intention.

Respecting the Medicine

Patch Test

Before applying generously, perform a patch test on a small area of skin to check for sensitivity.

Storage

Store your blends in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Keeping caps tightly sealed preserves their potency and shelf life.

Safety

Keep all essential oils out of the reach of children and pets. Our oils are diluted 3-5% with jojoba oil for safe topical use.
