Living Wisdom Apothecary is a family endeavor rooted in the red rocks of a small town in southern Utah. We are a wife and husband team dedicated to bridging the gap between ancient wellness and modern life. Rory serves as the operational backbone, handling the day-to-day business needs that allow this sacred work to flourish. This support enables Aleisha to pour her heart into her true calling: creating inspired herbal products and supporting our community's transformative journeys through plant medicine and astrology.

A Journey of Awakening

From Aleisha: My path to herbalism began not in a classroom, but in the depths of personal transformation. Years ago, I reached a state of complete burnout. I felt so far out of alignment with my authentic self that I could barely recognize the person I had become. Desperate to remember who I was, I turned to the stars.

I truly believe it was God and a gentle urging from my Celtic heritage that led me to astrology, essential oils, and herbs to facilitate my journey of self-discovery. Through these sacred mediums, I experienced profound personal healing. What started as a personal quest has blossomed into Living Wisdom Apothecary—a calling to share the plant wisdom with others ready to remember their innate connection to nature's healing intelligence.

My practice is distinctively holistic, weaving together the insights of astrology with the living intelligence of plants and the wisdom of the body. By incorporating astrological tools—such as the natal chart—I can reveal the deeper layers of what you may be experiencing physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Astrology gives us deeper context, often revealing how the emergence of symptoms relates directly to planetary transits. This allows us to craft restorative remedies that are precisely attuned to your unique blueprint. This integrative process addresses the whole person rather than isolated symptoms, helping to restore harmony, balance, and a sense of wholeness.

Education & Lineage

I am a lifelong student of the natural world, dedicated to honing my craft through mentorship and intensive study.

Astrological Training

• Light-Filled Astrology Program: Certified through Naomi Fox Reina’s intensive training, diving deep into the sacred art of chart interpretation.
• School of Evolutionary Herbalism: Earned a certificate in the Astro-Herbalism program, mastering the vital integration of clinical herbalism with medical astrology to create remedies that address the root energetic causes of imbalance.

Herbal & Ayurvedic Studies

• The Art of Infusion: Currently studying with Kami McBride to master the ancient art of handcrafted herbal-infused oils and the sacred relationship between herbalist and plant.
• Ayurvedic Integration: I incorporate the wisdom of Ayurveda, specifically Abhyanga (self-massage with warm oils), which demonstrates how plants can nourish the entire nervous system.
• Independent Study: Over two years of intensive independent study devoted to astrology, essential oils, and herbal remedies.

A Note on Safety & Formulation

My approach to essential oils is rooted in safety, reverence, and therapeutic application.

• Topical Safety: All blends use Jojoba oil as a carrier and are designed strictly for topical or aromatic use. I do not recommend ingesting essential oils.
• Dilution: I typically use a safe 2% dilution (approx. 6 drops per 10ml), occasionally increasing to 3-4% when therapeutically appropriate.
• Guidance: Every blend comes with detailed instructions ensuring you feel supported in your practice.
